HE WHO LURKS Adrian Lupus thinks of himself as an artist. But in reality, he is a serial killer who uses a hammer to crush the skull of young pretty women. Over time though, Lupus becomes more and more paranoid that he is being followed by Batman. One evening, after Lupus has killed another woman, he sees Batman everywhere - even in his own mirror image reflecting from a window in an office building. Because Lupus thinks Batman is in front of him, he runs at him with his hammer but crashes right through the window. He falls to his death into a garbage truck, and Batman finds his fallen hammer on the road and discards into a nearby bin without realizing the implications of it. His body will be incinerated and nobody will ever know the truth about the serial killer Adrian Lupus ...
